Special Events, Fundraisers and Corporate Tournaments

There will be side games setup at every tournament as well as our skeet and trap range open for warm-up and practice.
Registration fees* (Unless Otherwise Stated) are $70 per person for main event including meal. Re-shoots are $38 and Registered Re-Shoots are $35.00. _____________________________________________________
Gunsmoke Skeet Shoot Out
Starting January 8th Gunsmoke will be hosting Tuesday night skeet shoots. Entry fee will be $30 per entry, $10 will go back into the pot for a payout for 1st and 2nd place. Each night the pot will be split 60/40. The next dates will be:
January 8th January 15th January 22nd January 29th
and the last shoot will be held on Saturday February 2nd. This shoot will cost $60 for four rounds of skeet. $20 for each entry will go back into the pot for payout of 50/30/20 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. There will also be trophies for these places as well. We will also be giving a High Over All trophy, plus a $100 gift certificate for the shooter that has high score for all 5 tournaments.

April 19th 2008 SPJST 2nd Annual 3 Gun Shoot Open to the public. There will be youth and adult competitions. Youth 16 and under, adult 17 and over.
These are the following competitions:
Rifle: 20 shots at 100 yards
Pistol: 20 shots at 7 yards 10 shots at 15 yards
Shotgun: 2 rounds of skeet
April 25th 2008 Relay For Life Fundraiser Register Now Relay for life Benefit NSCA Sporting Clays Tournament Friday April 25th 2008 hosted at gunsmoke. This event will be open to the public. All clay shooters and bird hunters are welcome. You do not have to be an NSCA member to participate in this shoot. There will be a separate hunter class for non NSCA members. All profits will go to the American cancer society. So please come out for a great shooting event with lots of great prizes and that will benefit an outstanding organization. Please contact Jack Baumann at Gunsmoke for details.This will be a nsca registered event Special hunter class prizes for non NSCA members 100 bird main event for $75, 50 bird 5-stand for $40. Start shooting at 9am last shooter out at 5:30 p.m.Lunch will be served. Prizes for NSCA members Duck Unlimited shotgun for combine HOA of main event and 5-stand scores.Two Free main event entries to the zone shoot at Rio Brazos,Cash prizes,Ammo, and Numerous shooting apparel prizes. Hunter class prizes Shotgun for 1st place, a 2 man duck hunt at Tonkaway ranch for second, gun and hunt prizes are awarded for the combine HOA of main event and 5-stand scores, Cash prizes,Ammo,and Numerous shooting apparel prizes. 2008 Zone 6 Championships On May 1-4 Gunsmoke Shooting Range will be setting targets and managing the sub gauge course at the 2008 Zone 6 Championships at Rio Brazos.
2008 Clayfest Shoots
Starting June 3rd Gunsmoke Shooting Range will start hosting their summer Clay Fest shoots. Each Tuesday night we will have a 50 bird sporting clay shoots, the targets will start out as simple as the first shoot gradually becoming very difficult over the course of the 10 shoots. There will be no trappers involved, so that means we are using the honesty of sportsmanship.

Woodstock is an organization for abandoned dogs and cats which places the animal in a home prior to the adoption procedures. The organization also educates the general public in how to take better care of the pet, including specific information on neutering and spaying. The College Station Police Officers Association sporting clays tournament was a huge success and everyone had a wonderful time.
Everyone enjoyed the Fully Automatic Machine Guns. For those of you who were unable to attend this years event missed an excellent shoot and lots of great food.
